Wednesday: falls’ sky
Of the delicate intro, we’d say how precious and noticeable is a quality jazz performance, from its very first notes… thoses of the fine musicians alongside GAP MANGIONE, New-York pianist, composer, taking back to 1968 with this tune named Diana In The Autumn Wind.
Then, comes the main theme pretty interlacing on keyboard melting down as a brown caramel… smoothly, naive spreads toward the thicker layer of the cake… where drums and horns carefree celebrate wholeheartedly, beating verses praising the yellow, orange and red leaves falling down from the sky as rain and winds…
Coming in and going out this euphoric alegria getting stronger each time, and finally on the last ten seconds, the day light greets its last note…

Mercredi : qui tombent du ciel
De l’intro délicate, on dira combien un son bien jazzy est quelque chose de précieux reconnaisable aux premières premières notes… celles des fins musiciens accompagnant GAP MANGIONE, pianiste compositeur New-Yorkais ici en 1968 avec ce titre Diana in the Autumn Wind.
Et puis les jolis entrelacs du thème au clavier fondent en un caramel brun…délicatement, innocents coulant vers les couches serrés du gâteau, où batterie et cuivres fetent l’insouciance à coeur joie, battant un couplet à la gloire des feuilles jaunes et rousses précipitées du ciel en pluie et vents…
S’en va et s’en vient cette allégresse euphorique plus forte à chaque fois, et enfin, dans les dix dernieres secondes, le jour nous salue de sa dernière note…
